MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to supply our customers with the very best in natural products at competitive prices whilst maintaining the highest possible levels of social and economic welfare to our suppliers.

At present, our goods are dispatched from the UK and India.  We hope, in the future, to be able to dispatch all of our products direct from the estates, thus creating much-needed local employment and ensuring that our customers receive the freshest quality products.  Average delivery times to Europe and the USA are 7 to 14 days, and our existing customers are happy to wait a little longer... read on to find out why...

SOCIAL WELFARE, FAIR PAY & GOOD WORKING CONDITIONS

Our growers and suppliers are in socially and economically disadvantaged areas of India, but with the support of our customers we are able to contribute towards the maintenance of a sixty-bed hospital, a school for over 1400 children and two orphanages for boys and girls.  The hospital, school and orphanages are there for the whole community - not only for employees and their families - with 40% of pupils coming from non-labour families and over 30,000 poor patients from the surrounding villages being treated every year.

Over 40 employees' children are sponsored every year for professional higher education in subjects including engineering, agriculture and veterinary medicine.  The Indian Government bans the employment of children below the age of 14 - we do not employ anyone below the age of 18!

Fair wages, good working conditions and free housing are very important to us, and we like to think that we have the happiest workforce in South India!
